I have been adding some small deatails to the MOMstang that I wanted to show. I like small subtle details that are not noticed much at first, but once you see them they draw your attention.

I have always liked the small grills/scoops that are built into the hood, but always hated the way they blended in being black on dark green. I liked the look of the wheels with the dark center and polished lip and thought that I could carry this theme while making the grills "POP" a little more. I made these bezels out of some flat stainless material I had in my garage and polished them till they were shiney. They came out so shiney infact that with the shape of the scoop before it tends to reflect the paint and blend in until you see it at the right angle.

The ones in the front came out so nice that I decided to do the same for the scoops that are just infront of the rear tires. These were a little more difficult to make and can't be seen until you are right up on it, and looking for them but once you see them they set it off.

I found a deal on some used stainless/lighted door sills that I could not resist. They now draw attention to a spot that was just a boring piece of plastic. I added a switch so that I can turn them off if I leave the doors open for an extended time.

I didn't like the way the bottom of the trunk lid looked and decided to make a cover for it. It is a fairly simple design that cleans up the bottom of the lid as I planned. It is made of two pieces, and the wood piece is held in place with screws that are anchored to the four silver points on the picture on the left. The 2nd part is painted plexi that covers up the screws to make a seemless look. I am considering lighting up the words because the way I designed it, it would not be too hard but at this point I just wanted to keep it simple.
