THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!! When I was 18 and back from school for the weekend during my 1rst Freshmen year my parents mentioned that they were going to trade in my mothers 87 Ford Tempo. I figured that they would get another boring vehicle that they could shuttle us around in as normal. I was amazed to hear them say that they liked the look of the new Mustang and were going to check one out. I was even more amazed when we walked out of the dealership that afternoon with an order for a new dark metalic green Gt, if they knew then what they know now it might have been different. It was a few weeks later that this car arrived and all my friends quickly nick named it the Momstang, a name it will never out live... I have been waiting to get my hands on that car since they brought it home that afternoon. Finally in june of 2006 my parents said that I could get it and I have been enjoying it since.

I consider this the 2nd part/version of the momstang, turning her into a bad little MOFO and giving her some attitude as she ages, not far from her namesake...I just added page 11 to show some recent small projects and finally got a little done under the hood.  I have only opened the intake and exhaust a little but everything else is as it came.  I have a 75mm MAF, 73 mm TB and a ported cobra intake.  The exhuast starts with a set of BBK shorty headers, then goes into a magnaflow catted X-pipe, and then into a dynomax side exhaust system that I just had painted and installed.  It has a mild tune that registered 226 hp and 265 tq.

This is one of the things she has picked up along her trip. My dad is Danish and got this somehow and gave it to mom. Mom put it up on the visor that night and it has been there since. I have also collected a bottle of ibuprophen that my brother bought on the drive we made from Indiana to Arizona that is just not photo-worthy. More to come as the journey continues and lets be clear about this, it is about the journey this time, not the destination...

This is the way she looked when I brought her back to AZ with me. At that point in june of '06 she was completly stock from the air cleaner to the tape marks in the back window from the original temporary tag! I have started some cosmetic modifications now and only a few to the engine so far. I take pics of these projects while they are in motion and would be happy to share them with anyone if they ask. I never plan on selling this car so I call it my perminant project and call it and have alot more in store for it in the future so check back from time to time. She has come a long way on the outside as I have added the wheels, smoked the front and rear lights, added some pin striping and chrome bezels and now I finished up the stereo I always dreamed of.  I have been installing car audio security for a number of years and in fact this vehicle was the vehicle I was trained on how to install alarms on. I put that alarm in when the car was about a month old in 94 and I am proud to say that I have never had a problem with it. I use to install for a living but now it is more of a hobby and again enjoyable again. I am considering this my masterpiece and I have taken the time to plan the stereo out and make it perfect. I have used threaded wood inserts and the correct 8/32 or 6/32 screws with hex heads so that all equipment can be easily removed and remounted if it is ever needed. I also designed the amp rack and the enclosure so that I can easily remove the two if I want to go to the track for an night. this took some planning but I am really happy with the end product.

I have not done much under the hood as of yet. So far the only mods include a CAI, 72 mm polished throttle body and a 75 mm polished MAF and finally into a ported cobra intake with a 3/8" phenolic spacer. The internals of the motor are still completely stock but the exhaust starts with BBK shortys, goes into a magnaflow catted-X-pipe and finally out through dynomax side exhaust.  I had a baseline dyno done when I brought her out to AZ that showed 190hp and 260 tq when she was COMPLETELY stock, and after everything was installed it dyno'd at 226 hp and 270 tq.
