Scotty's 2001 Chevrolet Impala LS
Almost bought her an Infiniti J30, but this one was black, and she's always wanted a black car. I knew I'd end up being the one who has to wash it, but's thats ok. She loves it and I scored some major points when she unveiled it in our driveway.
Before I gave it to her, I added a Trenz grill, a K&N filter and some bass kickers in the trunk. It needed nothing else. When the tires wear out, I'll upgrade the wheels, but for now, she'll just cruise it to work and we'll take it to go out for dinner on the weekends.
I added drilled rotors and graphite pads to the front last month. Stops good now. Nice car, gets 27 mpg too!
Update: Jan. 09. Car still runs good at 89K. Though the seat heater has failed. A fairly common problem, but they want to replace the whole frickin' seat. Not gonna happen. Just had the brakes redone all around. Those drilled rotors tend to eat pads. She still loves the car, but if I had the cash, she'd be driving an M35 or even better, a TESLA!
