Drivetrain:

The engine & drivetrain options installed in my car are as follows:

Engine: 6G72
Displacement: 3.0L V6
Valvetrain: DOHC 24 Valves
Redline: 9000 RPM
Horsepower: 320
Torque: 315 ft/lbs
Turbo: Mitsubishi 9b (Twin)
Intercooler: Air to Air (Twin)
Pressure: 12PSI
Transmission: Getrag 5 Speed (18 spline) Manual, AWD, AWS
Clutch: Stock

Bottom End:

I'm not quite sure what I want to do here but I would like to do a full rebuild, balanced and blueprinted. When it's all said and done I would like to running in the neighborhood of 500-600 all wheel horsepower. I still need to research if I will need to do any work with the internals or not. The fill will is Redline 10w40 and I like Mobil 1, K&N, Wix, and Purolater filters.

Top End:

I haven't done enough research yet to know what I want to do as far as headwork if any. I do know that I want to install a set of 3rd gen lifters to eradicate that damned lifter tick.

Fuel Management:

Once again, I'm not sure how I'm going to get everything to play nice. Someone is trying to convince me to use Megasquirt but I still need to research this quite a bit.

Ignition:

I started with some NGK Copper plugs unil the car is done. No sense fouling an expesive set of plugs. I got a set of MSD wires. I still need to figure out if I need to replace the coils and get a controller.

Fuel system:

I know I'll be needing bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump. I just don't know if I should get a new rail, lines, and regulator.

Intake:

I'm planning on getting a black powdercoated intake pipe kit from Dejon with new intercoolers that go in the stock location and use red silicone couplers. I have replaced the air cleaner with an open K&N filter which I'll have to change once I go over to the blow through system. I've pulled the BCS plug to gain a little extra boost. I would also like to clean up the vacuum system and remove anything I don't need to pass emissions.

Exhaust:

I want to replace the exhaust from the turbos back, at least. I might even get a set of headers as well. I want to co with the quad tip setup from IPS. I will be removing the active exhaust and mine seems to work intermittently anyhow. I'm going for a stock look, but not stock sounding. I'll also need to research a muffler and cats. I will be eliminating the pre-cats as well.

Turbos:

It is going to need some bigger turbos. I still don't know what would be the best option.

Cooling:

I'm not sure what I'll need as far as cooling is concerned but I'm sure what I have isn't adequate.

Transmission:

I fear the transmission is going to need some work. It has some grinding issue that I'm going to try to resolve with a fluid change. If I still have issues, or find metal shavings int he old fluid I'll just get a new 25 spline 5 speed and transfer case from Kormex. I am also going to replace the useless VCU with a Torsen center diff from Supercar Engineering. Then I will run it out to the back with a single piece CF driveshaft. I will also want to upgrade the clutch, most likely with one from ACT.

Dress up:

For dress up there isn’t much planned at all. I have gotten an intake manifold and valve cover powdercoated white. I am then going to use some fine grit sand paper and sand off the fins and letters, and then I will use some aluminum polish and a die grinder to polish them to a smooth finish. Beyond that I'm going to have someone local do a wire tuck.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
