My 71 SS454 Monte has been restored to orginal specs.
I have the orginal build sheets. It was assembled at the Leeds Plant close to Kanas City. Missouri. This GM plant was closed in 1988. My Monte was shipped from Leeds to Bill McKay Chevrolet, Fort Worth, Texes. My Monte stayed in Texas until 1996 when it was bought by a person in Nashville Tn. were he began the restro.
I purchased the car in Sept. 2003 I finished the restro.
