This is my 1966 Triumph Herald 1200. I got it 5 years ago off an old guy for $2500. It was alot of money at the time and although the car was abit tired it was all in good working order and free of any dreaded rust. I didn't really Know what type of car it was when i saw it but i liked its look and had to have it, even after alot of people told me not to buy it. After driving the car for the first time i found alot of things that could be improved on. Before long the car was apart and the work was under way. Five years (and a sh!t load of money) later, the car is close to how i want it, its clocked up alot of miles and been alot of places. The engine is close to stock but has been fully rebuilt after it broke a piston...
The gases are handled with a 2 1/2 inch pipe, through a coby and a chrome dumpie (the limpy). Apparently I have had a Flame thrower installed, took all day, looks cool, never seen it myself. I was told they are illegal.

Ride height has dropped a couple of inches after a full suspension rebuild and the addition of Koni adjustables. Mags are 14" Performance Wheels from Auzzie and the rubber is Dunlop 185/60/14 Racing tyres.
Comfort is taken care of by a set of Jamex Racing Seats and Momo Steering Wheel. I have removed any extra weight from inside the car and added some extra gauges.

I would like to thank; Mark from Firestone Petone (formally Param) for the Jamex Seats, and for the headache in sourcing Mags for my car - one of a kind for this type of car, never gonna happen again. Rimmer Bros UK for loads of new parts. Waikanae Panel and Paint for my custom paint job. Lastly my girlfriend, who I have an arrangement with when I fix her car.
