1975 Chevelle Laguna S3 Info.
The S3 was originally designed as a more aerodynamic body style for the Chevelle of the era to make the car's faster on the superspeedways of the NASCAR circuit. The S3's had a new aerodynamically styled soft urethane front end, 15 inch ralley wheels, dual sport mirrors with remote control on drivers side, louvered coach windows, special shocks and front and rear stabilizers. It also came standard with steel-belted radial tires to complement the radial tuned suspension. The interior featured a 4 spoke sport steering wheel to handle the variable ratio power steering, a rear bech seat and front Swivel bucket seats. Other options for the S3 included a tachometer, fuel economy (vacuum) guage, clock, and center console for the interior, and asside from the sloped front nose, a 'sport' vinyl top and painted pin-stirpe and fender/rocker pannel stripes we're available for the exterior.
In 1975 there we're only 7,788 Laguna S3's built, making the 75' S3's the rarest of all the Lagunas.
