Tried to get tuned but blew a head gasket!! its mostly tuned now, just have to fix the leak. I have an idea now of what kind of power it can make.
this is a dyno run @ 13.7psi boost during tuning, even with a blown head gasket...

This run was not even brought up to redline (8k rpm). The torque and hp curves cross at 5252rpm... This graph shows that I made 344whp just after VTEC switches on. I lost too much compression from the blown gasket and lossed power.

when I get things fixed I should be well over 400hp at 16psi (hi boost setting)

New pics of my civic, this is December 5th '02, after three months of being in the shop. Of course it's now winter, and I won't have any luck moving it until I get some snow tires put on her stock rims.

This is my sleeper, sleeping...isn't this a good time to break her in...

******Updates******

Well, the motor on the previous pages did not work out... after that 350whp dyno run, the motor just never sealed and I ended up pulling it out and putting in a new stock B16A2 motor so I can drive to work...

I went back to my tuner for another Hondata chip programed for the stock motor and 10psi boost.

here's some pics of the tunning done in NY... I have a great tuner!

fastSI's 2000 Honda CivicfastSI's 2000 Honda Civic

It put down 268whp at 10psi which isn't bad for a stock motor... but because I had boost spikes I didn't pay attention to, the the piston ringlands blew in that motor in 3 weeks.

Because I have to take the block out to overbore the cylinder walls anyway, I just said screw the stock motor and use that block to built the same setup as before only with proper sleeving this time.

I'm still waiting for the cherry picker to come in so I can pull the stock block out for Benson sleeves. I plan to use the parts from my other motor that was not sleeved properly, or at least moved twice on me. and also use the built head from that motor which was checked as good by a local machine shop.

Update: 5/03/04

Got the motor out!

Just have to send the block out for sleeves and 84mm bore...

I will gather the remainding parts and tools needed for when the block gets back from being sleeved and bored to match the CP pistons.
