Shelby, I owned a 2000 GT coupe myself prior to owning my 03' 30th Anniversary Edition GT1 Sedan with the SCT package. One thing you have to watch out for on the 99'-02' is that that the lower intake manifold gasket will begin to leak. In 03' Pontiac revisied the design of the gasket. Look for brown "turds" in the coolant overflow tank otherwise known as sludge. That will tell you if you have this problem also the car will run hot. The cost to repair this is usually between $600-800. Check out my 03' and let me know what you think.

Dude! Turbo's ROCK!! Do they make an aftermarket turbo kit for the Grand Am?

If not, get a Borla exhaust then add a programmer.
