This is my daliy driver car. That was on my 2nd page of ym other taurus. But since I'm starting to dump more $$ into it. I figure I'll start it's own page.
I don't plan to do anything really off the wall to it but we'll see.
Theirs plenty of stuff planned for the futur. Probaly some tint atleast. And some exhaust work

Here it is with the SHO basket weaves wheels on. I choose these wheels cause their lighter and stronger then the steel wheels it came with. I also purchased some Blizzak REVO1 snow tires. cause here in central NY the winters can get pretty bad and I have to drive my car at night to snow plow.

Here it is with the oem alloys, that I painted black. I chose these wheels cause I had them in the basment and their better than the steel wheels and are lighter than the SHO basket weaves by 1LB. they are the ones that came on my other taurus, before I put my 18s on it. I also purchased some Yokos AVS ES100. Cause they seem to be one of the best tires for what I'm looking for and the size available.

Here's a pic of the hayden tranny cooler I installed for some added protection for my tranny. I don't have a tranny temp gauge. So I don't know if to does anything but, I'm pretty sure it's helping ;)
I also received for christmas a B&M super cooler tranny cooler. The largest they make. I'll be putting that on in the spring, followed by some pics.

Here's the Ford racing spark plug wires i got for it. I also got some bosch plat plugs. Just the single ones, I don't go in for those fancy double, triple or even quadruple tip plugs. And this is a common pic of the engine bay.

Here are the aluminum subframe bushings I bought. Next to one is the old front bushing. The old ones look pretty weak and needed to be replaced. these alum ones should NEVER need to be replaced.

heres the alum bushings in place but not tighted down, I don't even have the bolt in it yet, in this pic. This is one of the front ones. Threars are pretty much the same.

Here's a pic of the old bushing. the bolts is already loosened and ready to be popped off.

here are my rear brakes, old and crappy. They need to go.

Dylan2's 1998 Ford Taurus
Here ar the new ones. I bought new calipers and painted them white and also grined down the brackets and painted them black. And i got some Power Slot Slotted rotors and some Hawk HPS pads. And flushed the system with valvoline synpower fluid.

And here's a side shot of it.

Here are my front brakes. Pretty old and crappy sooo, They gotta go.

Dylan2's 1998 Ford Taurus

Here are my new ones. I purchase new calipers and painted them white and grinded down the brackets, to get the rust off, and painted them black. I also bought some Power Slot Slotted rotors and some hawk HPS pads. And I also bought some new brake hoses for the front. And completed the flush with valvoline synpower brake fluid.

And here's a side shot of it. Needless to say that with these new front and rear brakes. the car stops well better then the day I bought it (used). probably better than when it was new even.

And here's a pic of my custom HID retro kit, with blue angel eyes. And you can see my clear corner lense that replaced the oem orange ones on the side. The projectors are from and E55 Benz so they are a Bi-Xenon HID. And obvisouly these lights put the stock lights to shame and these ones even look 100% better.

And here's a shot of some suspension parts I bought and installed. Their are 4 KYB GR-2 struts and MOOG front and rear strut mounts. And also not in the pic are my new oem springs I bought from Ford, Dumb idea on my part, next time I'm getting the eibachs.

I got a new satinless steel catback exhaust put on, just in time for Christmas :) I got it done at R&D fabs. It's a 2" mandrel bent system with some MagnaFlow mufflers. Their model# 14850, all polished stainless steel (mirror finish), 2.25" inlet and 4" tip, and their a straight through stlyed muffler. They sound REALLY good when the seconderies open up.

I've also installed a K&N panel air filter. Seems to help some. And I have also installed a SHO 150mph speedo cluster. I did this a while ago just forgot to mention it.

And for the near futur I'm going to redo my suspension again. I already have the 4 KYB GR2 struts but this time I'm NOT going to cut the tabs off. And I will also be changing to eibach springs. I'm pretty disatisfied with the springs I choose, which pretty much reuined the setup. So I gotta start over again :( And I also have a custom set of stainless steel braided brake lines for all four calipers getting made. Allready paid for. It's part of the NESHO groupbuy on shoforum.com and hopefully some tint soon.
