Dec. 2005
I purchased a 1997 240SX SE w/o VLSD. Was crusing autotrader and saw it listed at a local dealer for 5900. Went an check it out. Had tons of white powder residue throughought the int. And smelled like wet socks (as it had been sitting undriven for a while). Had massive parking dings and a cracked front bumper. I had no problem w/ the bodywork because I knew I was going to repaint it anyway. Found out the white powder was prob. due to the air bag deploy (ran a carfax) and was prob. the culprit of the cracked front bumper.
After negoation I brought the S14 for 6500. Not bad. One female owner, stock, GA car . Needed and still does rear RUCAS and pretty much full front susp. Also the cam seals were leaking. All common wear and tear w/ a 9 y/o car.. Once all was done prep for the refreshing of the s-chassi begain.

The OEM SE spoiler was removed holes MIG welded, grinded and body filled.

Dents and dings were also DA'ed and wiped w/ body filler.

The front emblem was also filled in. And the cracked bumper fixed.

The S was then stripped, resanded w/ 400 grit and then taped and primered.

Once primered the car was wetsanded w/ 400 to get the primer leveled.
