May 26th, 2008. I continued the performance theme with a gift for my baby!

Actually, it was supposed to be a repair. There was a rattle in my pipes that was getting louder every day. I thought I had to replace my cat, but it was OK!

I went to a great place called Precision Muffler in Milpitas, CA. http://www.precisionmuffler.com/. The expert technician there was truly an expert and an artist. He knew exactly what to do.

He also told me my Catalytic converter was still working. I highly recommend this shop. They do excellent work and with such speed. This kind of shop is hard to find now days. I was out of there in under 2 hours. That includes "car talk" about my baby!

In the end I left with knowledge about my exhaust I never really knew before. Due to the midship design of the engine compartment, the previa has few bends in a short exhaust pipe. One bend from the engine and the next over the axle. This makes a pretty straight pipe. So when he put the muffler on, it was way too loud while driving.

So the expert added a resonator earlier up the pipe, just before the bend over the axle. It's softer now, but still LOUD!
=). Not complaining...

So I ended up getting a great Muffler, expert work on the exhaust system, more horse power, valuable knowledge
and not spending so much =). Well worth the trip from SF.

Nice Ride! I like the performance muffler you have, and the head unit and tach gauge, nice!! I have a flowmaster 40 series and resenator cutoff, it's loud but not crazy loud. Keep me posted! Check out my ride and vote!!

Hi, is very simple. When I bought my headlights from Japan didn't came with the seal. Just used the seal from the stock one u have. Fits perfect. Thanks
