bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTest fitting of the condenser.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAfter cleaning and straightening the fins with a radiator comb. Also bead blasted the mounting brackets and painted semi gloss.bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTest fitting of the evaporator core suitcase.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleYikes! This was a fire just waiting to happen. The dust and debris was up to the blower resistor.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleThe other side just as filthy.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleEvaporator core before.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleStill kinda before but it's vacuum'd off and the the tubes are clean.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleBrought this up to the house and cleaned the hell out of it. Not ready to go in just yet. i still have to bead blast, prime and paint the POA bracket. Just the same looks a lot better.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleGot my big block a/c brackets and just had test fit them.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleHere's the new brackets right out of the bead blast cabinet at work. Did this after my 12 hr shift.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleHere they are all painted and on the engine.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTest fitting the a/c firewall. I only have a vague idea where it should go.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleMore test fitting.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTraced the firewall outline when i was satisfied of its position.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleLook at that GAPING hole!!!

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTest fitting before final trim and welding.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAfter some mild cleaning

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleCompletely torn down and cleaned

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleTest fit inside the car.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAnother view without the duct.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleNow with the dash installed

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAnother view of ducting.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleChecking clearances.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAgain.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleAnd once more.

bubba271's 1971 Chevrolet ChevelleOverall a success!!! I'm thrilled how this is turning out.

bubba271s 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Welds ground down, filler applied, sanded down, and painted. Now for the fun part putting everything back together now.

bubba271s 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Bought another a/c wiring harness for a 71 chevelle 20.00 ebay. I took the two of them and made one good one.

bubba271s 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle  Also got this off ebay for a dollar!!!! Original pass side dash vent duct hose in great condition.

Very nice ride, definitely a five starPlease come and check out our 1984 CJ-7, We Call B.O. "Blue Ox" It was hand built with help from Randy's Off Road Connection in Marysville, WA. Clean this thing up and you will win trophies at the local truck show. The front and rear axles were built by CURRIE ENTERPRISES. They both are 6 LUG DANA 44's w/ 11" brake kit and 4:56 gears. The Jeep also has Curries heavy duty rock crawler tie rods, drag links and steering box brace kit. The rear axle has the DETROIT LOCKER and the front has ARB AIR LOCKER. It was lifted 6 inches with Curries rock crawler springs that are connected to the frame with welded Currie spring hangers. NO LOW HANGING SHACKLES HERE" We get the power to them thru curries balanced custom rock crawler CV drive shafts. It rolls on Mickey Thomson rims W/ 35" SUPER SWAMPER SSR's. I also had them sipped for more wet weather/ winter traction. I keep her riding smooth with RANCHO RS9000 shocks. If it gets stuck I can pull her out with the Warn HS9500I winch. The paint is glacier blue with black interior Water proof bucket seats and full custom roll cage.

you putting factory AC on an AC car or something else? If you are then its pretty straight forward. New O-rings and new dryer. I adjusted my POA valve for R134 and the temps got to 30* out the vents on a fairly warm day. I cant remember how much I did but I think it was a quarter turn. Ill have to look it up.
