1971 Chevelle SS 402 painted valve covers with correct wire holders and plug wire looms intact. Bought them off evil bay for 90.00 shipped to my door. The ad lists them as no rust and normal wear marks. I emailed them to see if they could send me better pics. The reply was "they were already packaged up and the boss didn't want them getting damaged just laying around unprotected." I figured that was good enough for me so i clicked the BUY IT NOW button and waited. 24.00 shipping and 2 weeks later they arrived. They were badly dented in many places and rusted inside. WTF??? This is from a seller in hooversville pa. 1 hour away!!!!!!! Thats i'm done dealing with them. And now i am stuck yet again withsomething that needs major surgery.

Powder-coated my weiand stealth intake also i procured an original 3877660 water neck and a gm holley heat shield. More pics on page 4.
Modded my 70 cowl induction air cleaner to a correct 71 version. More pics on page 4.
Started to weld in the cowl panel and grind flush.
Oh look what showed up today while i was at the garage. A 1971 gm 3969811 TX date coded water pump for an LS3 402.
More stuff from ebay. 3967420 the correct 71 chevelle big block power steering bracket. Just need to refurbish it then install on the motor.
