This is my 1970 440+6 'Cuda, the pics shown with the car on the trailer are on the trip home from Los Banos California to Spokane Washington. I bought it from the second owner in Los Banos California right out of the driveway it's shown sitting in here. The car was treated pretty rough over the years but somehow managed to live with it's original numbers matching 440+6 engine and transmission, it's original Shaker Hood, and it's original fender tag, etc. I was also lucky enough to find the original owner alive and well in the town the car was first purchased in (Hollister California) He, gave me some old pics of the car and some history. He was a mechanic at the selling dealership and ordered it new in 1969, he wanted the bench seat so he could have his girlfriend closer to him and ordered the car with street racing in mind, no frills, just lightwieght and fast, as he tells it the car was unbeatable back in the day and he wishes he never sold it.

Obviously the car needs a complete restoration but is 100% original and all there so it won't be a difficult car to do. I'll be doing a ground up job on her and have already accumulated many NOS and mint original parts to do the job right. It's an original California car, it's originally equipped as follows: 440+6, automatic on the column,N96 Shaker Hood, bench seat, 3:55 Sure Grip, FY1 Lemon Twist/Top Bannana Yellow, black interior, standard dash gauges, AM Radio, manual drum brakes, manual steering, 14.00 Rallye wheels, and that's it! The under hood shot of the engine shown below is not from my car but one nearly identical to it, mine is out for a rebuild.

Love the car. Time to update some pics of the restoration. You are really luck to have that car. Wish I could find one. You should tell the story of how you found it and how much it cost because people love to hear that stuff. 5 stars for you because that car is really cool.
