I upgraded the Alpine CDA-9855 to ad CDA-9887 with the HD Radio tuner. Got new wheels, just before putting the car away for the winter. Can't wait till spring!!

Rims are American Racing Casinio 18x8, tires are Dunlop SP Sport 9000, 255/45ZR18
All six amps are pioneer 5100T. 6 speakers, six amps, made perfect sense at the time...

Rear crossover (sub/6x9) is Kicker, front (component) is phoenix gold. Door and deck speakers are behind the original factory grills and use the original Bose mounts, which i modified to make stiffer and sealed, but the angles were good. I'm making extenders for the rear seat latch to keep it open a few inches. The rear deck is sealed, but i still get a little bit of back wave when i crank it, through the car body. I'm going to add a bunch of B-quiet and see if that works, can't hurt
Oh it Rips!!. It's too loud to sit in the car. Really its set up to be an SQ system, not for SPL. I love the steering wheel radio controls.
My wife, Kim and I, did a roadtrip for our summer vacation. Starting at home in Ajax, Ontario, we went to Ohio to see Kim's mom, Texas to see my daughter, Orlando for a day at Disney, Daytona for the Pepsi 400, (Tony climbed the fence again ), St. Petes Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, then back up the east coast to see my sister in Maine. She took us sailing. Then home, stopping for lunch in Montreal. It was a great trip. We went through all 80 CD's we took with us!! The Monte just purred, sometimes roared, never even blinked at the heat. 9,600 km's with nothing but an oil change (Mobil1).
That's why i love the new car, besides the remote start has auto AC/heat, it even turns on the rear and mirror defog if its cold enough. So far, the only pics i have are of the amps and subs install. Guess i should take a picture of the outside.
