My Father and Step Mother found this pup all busted up in a junkyard. The funny part is that her Dad used to own it and purchased it in at the worlds fair in who knows what year. It was all kinds of messed up when they rescued it. Thanks to the heroic eforts of the men and women at Great Lakes Motor Works, she is saved! The list of mods include truck bed liner interior, marker board on the roof and a jeepnee licinse plate. The top speed of this monster is 55 mph. I will get more pics soon.

The jeepnys were first WW2 jeeps that were modified to be taxis in the Philipennes (sp?). The back section is some form of Ford. The estimates are that there are somewhere between 3 to ten of them in the U.S.A.

wow! a jeepney!! its a very nice looking jeepney! never thoughts of finding 1 here at the domain. filipinos are very proud of it. keep it up!! its real classic.

That is a very interesting vehicle. A well done to have restored it so completely. For Jeep heritage, it's a good thing you rescued it...
I just take care of a couple of common Cherokees myself!
