She is a 66 bug that has seen better days. But I am going to get her back on the road!
Here it is sitting in the previos owners drive ready to be towed away. Putting more air in the tires to get her all the way home. In her new home. See the motor in front on the floor? The inside of the car was filled with parts including the motor when I got it. You can see the 68 seats behind the car. The driver's floor pan is rusted out and I have a new one to replace it. The old boots were cracked and nasty So I cleaned stuff up a little and put new boots on. I almost have the new pan in at this point. All I have to do now is weld it and put seam sealer on! That was a pain to do by myself. Here is the engine compartment after I cleaned it up a little and painted it. My poor '49 Chevy has been setting outside ever since I got the bug. (That only lasted a little over a week, the Chevy is back in the garage.)
