Update - 5/3/07 - As of April 10, 2007, my Mazda has been totaled as the result of a head-on collision. I was driving on a small windy road behind a school and a park on my way to drop of my fiancee's little brother for his baseball practice when a white Chevy Cobalt came flying around the corner at about 40 MPH. The road was marked at 15MPH. Needless to say, when I saw him I immediately slowed down but the other driver could not make it around the corner in his lane and hit my car passenger to passenger side. Only my airbag deployed. All occupants from both vehicles exited safely without injury. The majority of the damage was done to my vehicle on the front, right corner. Over $15,300 was done to the car in damage and thus it was totaled. The main reason for the high price was the fact that the frame had been damaged and the entire wiring harness had been destroyed, as well as the expenses to replace the airbag system.

This is a 2006 Black Mica Mazda3 Hatchback 5-SPD - it is the S model w/ the Touring Package and it has the 6-CD Audio Package w/ Power Sunroof as well. I bought it used for around 18k w/ 8000Miles on it (Warranty remaining). I got $6,000 for selling my Wrangler and I used that as a down-payment on the Mazda.

I do plan on making this another project car in the future, but for now, I only plan on doing the necessary things such as... installing a better audio system, tinting the windows and maybe some small exterior/interior mods.

Anyways... for now, feel free to take a look at the car - it's obviously stock for now, but never-the-less, it's still a sexy ride. =)
