Well it's February now. The engine was back together and running right before Christmas. Since returning from the holidays I've driven the car to Baltimore and back (about a 2 hour drive each way), an 80 mile cruise with our local Mustang club and I've been using it as my daily driver every day it's not raining and above freezing.

My latest project is the addition of H4 halogen headlights on the outer hi/lo beams.  They're Delta lenses from Virginia Mustang.   I replaced the goofy blue "Xenon" bulbs with Sylvania SlverStar Ultras.  The inner hi-beam only lights are Sylvania Halogen replacements built like the original sealed beams.  I used a Painless Quad light relay harness.  Although it's well built and was fairly easy to install, I did have to extend the leads from the outer bulbs to the inner bulbs as they came up about 4 inches short.  It wasn't terribly difficult to do, but it's not just a simple bolt in.

I'm not afraid of the dark anymore.  They do throw down some light on the road!

//// Update ////

It's April now and my car is on it's way to Las Vegas. I'm flying out to meet it there in a few days. We're going to drive in the Mustangs Across America tour and finish in Birmingham for the MCAs 45th Mustang Anniversary bash. Wish me luck!!

Thought for the day... The more people I meet, the more I like my car ;)

Really nice ride. I'm very interested in your front suspension. Did you make your own control arms? What length/rate front springs are you using? I assume the spindle is the Willwood ProSpindle? Is it's Ackerman angle similar to the original spindle?cheersJames

Nice update - remove those extra blank pages though. I updated my Mach 13 page 5 with stuff from last 2 months. Come look and leave me some fresh feedback. -Nick

Yeah, I wish I had a Mach 1 like that. I updated my webpage today. Check out my suspension project.
