After a year of rebuilding the valvetrain, the engine is back together and the final detail touches are done. The engine is ready to go back in.69Gmachine's 1969 Ford Mustang

I've re-installed the power brake booster and put a '99-04 V6 Mustang MC on it. 69Gmachine's 1969 Ford Mustang

69Gmachine's 1969 Ford MustangI made my own lines with ISO bubble flares on one end and standard inverted flare fittings on the other. I bought a single 40" metric bubble flare line and cut it in two. The short piece is 18" long. I then added the correct fittings to mate with the distribution block, and flared the ends with a double flare.

The PS pump is for a 87-93 Fox Mustang with an early pulley.

The PS pulley is stamped 5Z AIA. I believe it's off of a mid 70s full size car. It has a large diameter to keep the RPMs down, effectively an underdrive pulley.69Gmachine's 1969 Ford Mustang

This is the Tremec 5 speed tranny with an early (no longer in use) version of my homemade clutch set-up. I installed a TKO gear set in the tranny with larger input and output shafts. I also had to replace the tailshaft housing to work with the larger output shaft. Now it can handle the torque of my 408.69Gmachine's 1969 Ford Mustang

Really nice ride. I'm very interested in your front suspension. Did you make your own control arms? What length/rate front springs are you using? I assume the spindle is the Willwood ProSpindle? Is it's Ackerman angle similar to the original spindle?cheersJames

Nice update - remove those extra blank pages though. I updated my Mach 13 page 5 with stuff from last 2 months. Come look and leave me some fresh feedback. -Nick

Yeah, I wish I had a Mach 1 like that. I updated my webpage today. Check out my suspension project.
