After a year of rebuilding the valvetrain, the engine is back together and the final detail touches are done. The engine is ready to go back in.
I've re-installed the power brake booster and put a '99-04 V6 Mustang MC on it.
I made my own lines with ISO bubble flares on one end and standard inverted flare fittings on the other. I bought a single 40" metric bubble flare line and cut it in two. The short piece is 18" long. I then added the correct fittings to mate with the distribution block, and flared the ends with a double flare.
The PS pump is for a 87-93 Fox Mustang with an early pulley.
The PS pulley is stamped 5Z AIA. I believe it's off of a mid 70s full size car. It has a large diameter to keep the RPMs down, effectively an underdrive pulley.
This is the Tremec 5 speed tranny with an early (no longer in use) version of my homemade clutch set-up. I installed a TKO gear set in the tranny with larger input and output shafts. I also had to replace the tailshaft housing to work with the larger output shaft. Now it can handle the torque of my 408.
