I took it to the MCA 30th Anniversary Celebration at Barber Motorsports park. I didn't get as much track time as I had hoped, but what seat time I did get was a blast.

Here I am in the staging lane ready to get on the track for the first time.

Coming down the long front straight. This was an absolutely beautiful course with lots of turns. I can't wait to get out on a track again!

I Installed Summit sport seats to keep me firmly planted in the turns. I had the Mach 1 comfort weave inserts sewn in, and the rest died to match. It came out pretty good I thought.

Unfortunately, the engine didn't survive the outing. I over rev'ed it making a pass and bent 6 of the intake pushrods. After a year of rebuilding it's finally back in the car.

Really nice ride. I'm very interested in your front suspension. Did you make your own control arms? What length/rate front springs are you using? I assume the spindle is the Willwood ProSpindle? Is it's Ackerman angle similar to the original spindle?cheersJames

Love your ride. I especially enjoyed your Mustangs across America photos. Congrats on a great looking car.

Nice update - remove those extra blank pages though. I updated my Mach 13 page 5 with stuff from last 2 months. Come look and leave me some fresh feedback. -Nick

Yeah, I wish I had a Mach 1 like that. I updated my webpage today. Check out my suspension project.
