Welcome to my page dedicated to my 59 Impala sport coupe. This is our latest addition, an all original unrestored air conditioned 348 big block powerglide 59 Impala sport coupe. The car came from Kansas originally. Currently it has a 283 in place of the 348, but the original matching #'s 348 came with the car. It just needs to be rebuilt. Of course in a few months the car won't look like it does now. Our interior man will take care of the seats, we already have a media blaster and body man setup to complete the exterior as soon as the interior is removed. It will look like new when we are finished. We also have a 59 Impala Flattop, and a 60 Impala Sport Coupe if you search cardomain user name Rainman15 you'll see all our other cars. Well pictures are worth a thousand words so here they are. I'll update the page with restoration pics as soon as they are available. Enjoy!
****UPDATE 14DEC2007**** The car is finally out of the paint booth and our body man down in North Carolina sent me these update shots yesterday. Obviously the car still needs to be detailed but the paint looks great. I can't wait to see the car in person so I can get better pictures. Our 60 will be the next to go under the knife. I already have a built 348 ready to install after the car comes from blasting and the engine compartment is done. Well here are the updated 59 pics.
Taken during our first drive.
Taken at Harkers Island NC.
This is our son Nicholas taking his first ride in the new 59. My mom Janice is getting him ready for the trip.
Here are a couple pictures of the 59's together. The 60 was at my house in Virginia at the time the pics were taken so it was no included.
The parking is getting tight back there so we had to assign spots. :)
This is the 348 block we will be rebuilding and returning to the car.
Thats it. I'll update whenever new stuff is done to the car and please don't forget to sign our guestbook.

Steve, nice pair of '59's. I live right across the OUTERBRIDGE Crossing from "The Island". Maybe we'll meet at a local show sometime, I'll look for your cars. Good Luck, Ken
