Another fmc56 1963 Ford Econoline E150 Passenger post...
I've been working steadily on the body and interior completing most of it. The entire body was stripped to the bare metal. I found a few small rust spots that I cut out and I welded in new peices. Since I will be using it as a passenger van I changed the side doors to include pop open windows. After completing the body work I sprayed the van with self etching primer, Uro primer and several finish coats of flat black acrylic enamel. Later I plan to repaint the entire van with DuPont Hot Hues Hot Rod black urethane paint.
I painted all the interior sheetmetal satin red. The rear seat slides back 10" to allow me to carry two bicycles.
After a little over a year the van is almost finished. I added 1965 front bumper and mirrors, Ventshades and 235/60R X 14" Cooper Cobra tires mounted on 1969 Mustang Mach I wheels.
