This 855 R was bought in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Before hand, origionally it was ordered straight out of the factory from sweden to the UK with all the bells and whistles. However, when the car arrived, the guy backed out of the deal. So, from there the car was sent to the volvo dealer in K-Town, Germany, where it was placed right in the middle of the showroom floor. My dad fell in love. My dad test drove a white 854 R to get a feel for it. We took delivery of this baby that week. My dad had it up to 140 heading towards Frankfurt on the German Autobahn. He said it was still pulling, it wanted to go faster. He let go for safty percausions. Now, 9 years later, I'm drivin her and I love it.
We refer to it as the Rocket Sled.
