Here are some pictures of the buildup for my new kicks.
The speakers are DLS R6 componants, and the whole set cost me about 10 bucks to rebuild them from my old kicks, as I had all of the materials left over from older projects.
In this picture you can see my old kicks, with the planet audio PC58NEO componants in them.
Here are the baffles that will be going in the place of the old hardware.
Here are the old kicks, cut apart, stripped down, and with the new baffles installed on them, ready for the fabric stretching; and then with the fabric stretched.
Here is the final result, installed, and painted with X-terminator sound deadener.
