Speaker Grilz

Ok, here is a link to my multiply page. I have posted an album of mods. This album is about my speaker grills. They used to be tan, now they are gun metal. My original idea was to cover them with cloth, which i have the materials for, but i'm gonna test drive the painted ones for awhile and see how they react to having stuff rubbing on them.
here:

I'm also started a new mod. I'm gonna try to fiberglass my a-pillar by my self. I'm debating though if i wanna glass it and then paint it, or i just might wanna carbon fiber it. (whats the verb for making something into carbon fiber? :p )
here:

I am having difficulty removing the soft white felt/cotton ball type material from off the plastic. If anyone has any easy ideas, i would relly appreciate it. I've been told to wet it with gasoline and try a rough scraping tool. Or, i could just fiberglass over it?

P. S. i ate a few pieces of bondo-hair, u think i'll get sick?
