Hello my name is Anthony, i started my thunderbird project when i was 15, Im finnaly 18, yes!. I currently Attend California State Polytechnic University Pomona (cal poly), majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

This is my 1994 v8 4.6L ford thunderbird. I've have been working on it for over 2 years now. I just barely got camera so I only have pictures of what Ive currently done. Before I got the car, it was my mom's.... yeah my mom messed it up sick. The car was running on water, and that's it (no antifreeze), so over time the water caused the car's cooling system to not work,. Oh yeah, my dad though he could fix it by taking out the thermostat... bad idea. So my mom kept driving it and it overheated a few times. So what happens to a car that is overheated a billion times? The heads warp and cause water to go inside the heads.
Other than, the car was in an accident and the driver side headlight, fender, and the hood were messed up!
A few months later, I ask my neighbor (who owns a 66 thunderbird) if he can check out my car. He looked at it and said it has potential.

Over 3 months time we, and various trips to the junk yard:
flushed the car's cooling system
changed the water pump
fixed the broken head light and fender
added the factory Auto lights
added factory sensors (door ajar, low coolant, ect.)
added factory power seats
added factory remote keyless entry system & illuminated key entry ...
at the time we were unaware of the water in the cylinders...
One day, driving to school, I noticed the car feeling like it was going to explode when accelerating... and guess what? Yeah that's right...water was inside the heads...
It took us about 5 weekends to fix the car engine, everything that could have gone wrong happened: special tools needed, extra broken parts, ect... in total, it cost $1,000 lot to get the heads fixed, which included all the gaskets you can imagine. To our surprise the engine did start up when we finished...
