This is my 88 Bronco II, Its got a smittybilt push bar with lights, a 3" PA body lift, Wildcat tires and on-board air. I put a larger 58mm throttle body on, a 40 series flowmaster muffler with 2 1/2" piping from the Y-pipe back and many other things have been done to my rig.
Well the story starts out, I believe in march of 2006? My mom sold ther 5 liter t bird becasue it bothered her back to drive it and she said she would use some of the money and buy me someything nicer than the 2.3 2wd ranger i was driving. We put it on craigslist and in 15 minutes a guy called, he came out drove it and bought it right there, so we were out a car for the upcomming school/ workweek. So we searched craigslist and we came across mt baby, we drove out and looked at it, he was asking $850 for it, well the tranny shifted rough, the speakers werent hooked up (New cd player tho) the steering column wobbled, the headlight swith was fucked, the windows didnt work and had to be taped up, the seats only had 2 bolts loosly mounted in them, the exhaust didnt have a tailpipe and needed to be replaced to pass emissions, the valve covers leaked a fuck load of oil on the exhaust, basicaly it needed a lot of work, we talked him down to 650 and we got it, i was still skepticle but we needed some wheels. We fixed the headlight switch problem and hooked up the stereo right and fixed the windows, all the work after that has been done slowly over time. We did the valve covers and stopped 90% of the oil consumption. We also bolted down the seats too. We got a parts bronco with the the wheels tires and brush gaurd so I took those, the back tires were studded so I spent a good 2 hours pullin all of em out but it was worth it.
