19th August 2007 - Ripspeed Donny South 2007 show.

Again it was wet as most if not all the shows this year. However, after the rain stopped at 1pm was a good show with some quality fresh cars. I was on the Streetlegal stand this year.

7th August 2007 - BSP Front and Rear Chassis Braces fitted.

I am rapidly running out of things to do on my beloved car so have turned my attention to improving the already excellent handling by adding some chassis stiffening chassis brace developed by a NASCAR engineer.

13th April 2007 - FAST CAR MAY 2007 Issue MX5 Feature.

This is my fifth Feature in a mainstream magazine and the first of 2007.

22nd February 2007 - New K&N Filter and New www.MX5MAD.com Intercooler Pipes.

Recieved my new intercooler pipes so went and got them polished to retain the bling look.

The new K&N filter to replace the horrible Yellow Greddy Induction kit.

15th February 2007 - Max Power Magazine Teamshock Club feature. out of the 20+ well modified cars my car got into to the top 3 of the day.

11th Feb 2007 - Donut time!

10th Feb 2007 - New 2.5" Exhaust and Torsen Rear LSD Diff.

Well I finally listened to the advice by many on www.miataturbo.net to replace my 2.25" downpipe back exhaust system.

I again appointed Top Gear in Hayes to make me a custom exhaust.

The exhaust solution was to be good in looks and free flowing for max performance.

As a result I opted for a 2.5" S/S exhaust again with twin tail pipes and twin back boxes for back pressure.

The results are as follows:

First impressions are very good. Its louder but not droning loud. As to perfoemance gains I don't know till I get her on the dyno, but she definately feels more nippy.

In fact the extra power the exhaustis making is probaly why I blew my 1.6 rear diff on the way back home.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!

With allot of hassle I got the car to my chosen Tuner www.mx5mad.com and they fitted a Torsen Rear Diff.

We took the old diff off and most of the teeth had broken clean off.

Here you can see a big piece!!

Anyway she is well and back together. Big thanks to Bow at www.Mx5mad.com for coming through for me in my time of need.

It has been blended into the TRD rear spoiler made for the MR2 and cut and shut.

As you can see its taking shape.

As its winter now its time to plan the mods for next year.

One of my planned mods is a rear wing.

Always wanted a rear wing for my Roadster but never found one that looked right.

Finally found one:

As you can see its not too big and goes with the street racer styling.

Other planned mods over the winter/autumn months include:

- Bigger 330cc injectors
- Proper FMIC
- More rolling road tuning
- Gaz Coilover suspension
- And a few secret mods. :)

Inside the NEC. My car was of course in TOP 100 modded motors in the country (UK) and the only MX5/MIATA/Roadster there. Another big achievement.
