Well I got in a accident, I rear ended a guy. It wasn't too bad, my truck got must of the damage. The Westin bar showed how week it was. and my bumpers are history. I was going to fix it myself but because of the problems with insurance and lack of time on my part, its in the shop right now.
I am still torn if I want to keep the truck and make it into a desert prerunner, or trade it in for a different truck. If I keep it, I will need to make some new bumpers, along with an engine swap. I would like to put something like the 5 cylinder diesel from the new Dodge Sprinter, or maybe a Caterpillar engine in. Along with adding some external fuel tanks and brackets for old ammo boxes that I'll use in place of a truck box.
It, like all the other 98 Frontiers, has a 2.4 litter 4 cylinder engine. It doesn't have as much power as I wanted but its my first car so I now know what I really want in my next car.
It has after market wheels and tires, with locking hubs in the front. It had a bed liner but it was cut up and water was getting underneath. So when I can I will have a rhino liner added. I am not have the Westin bar put back on, the lights wiring is still there (I just took out the fuse) so when and is I put a new bumper on I will have the lights ready.

I need to get an aftermarket tach, if you know of any you like leave me a message about it.
Other than putting in a diesel I might put in an alcohol burner, but either way I want to put in auxiliary fuel tanks. That is if I decide to keep the truck.
