77GMC_CC's 1977 GMC Sierra

This is my 1977 GMC C35 Camper Special Dually.

The Odometer currently reads 49,092 miles, however, due to the missing 6th digit, that is misleading. The truck actually has 249,092 miles on the origional engine. As far as we know, everything on it is stock for the most part.

Driveline is a 454 with hydroboost, oil and power steering coolers, and hedman headers; a TH400 with cooler, driveshaft with 1410 series u joints, and a Dana 70 geared to 4.10.

It is in dire need of cosmetic help, with body cancer showing up everywhere but not spreading for what I can see.

After sitting rarely used for 3 years, I am wanting to make it better. Initial plans are to make the engine run consistently and make the truck drivable and reliable as a whole. Among the wish list for this truck:

Working A/C & Heat
fiberglass hood
bucket front seats (from 73-91 suburban)
new carpet (with seat conversion if completed)
Overdrive (gear vendor or 4L80E)
headliner
PAINT!
