How to test for parasitic current draw.
1.-Turn off your car.
2.-Disconnect the negative lead of the battery.
3.-Set your meter to read amps. I woud suggest a setting of less than 1 amp.
4.-Put the positive lead of the meter to the negative post of the battery.
5.-Put the negative lead of the meter to chassis ground.
6.-Take your readings.
7.-Do not try to start the car with this set up. You will melt your meter.
