Laguna Blue 94'MegaMonster Miata - 347" SB FORD V8, Full manual AOD tranny, T-bird 7.5" with 3.45:1 gear & Posi, Edelbrock RPM II intaka (naturally asperated), Bennett Cam, AFR 185 aluminum heads, Tein Flex coilovers, 75 hp nitrous shot, etc; 11.36 @ 120 1/4 mi.
A pic from Martins web site (V8Miata.com) showing the Mega Monster in the background as it looked before I got a hold of it.
Custom cold air intake.
26"x15"x10.5" MT "cheater" slick
This is the Simpson Design hood that "Chris92" modified for his supercharger, the little blister and scoop are for supercharger clearance, though my 8lb blower pulley still rubbed necessitating a change to a smaller 12lb pulley. I'll be replacing this with a modified stock hood with louvers like the original.
With the 1.5 ltr Kenne Bell supercharger on the old 302.
Old Motor with 2.2ltr (Blowzilla/Flowzilla) Kenne Bell supercharger, stroker crank, AFR 185 heads, 8.5:1 pistons and MSD ignition & distributor.
Original Mega Headlights & KB TSI's circa April 2006
View from inside engine bay showing smaller 6" deep filter, since replaced with a 12" deep K&N for better flow
View looking in the left fog light opening sowing the shorter K&N; you can see the fabercated splash shield behind the filter.
Present setup: Naturally aspirated 347" stroller motor, AFAR heads, Bennett cam, 75 hp shot of nitrous, 11.36" @ 120 mph.
