Aright, Here's my baby for the summer: a '64 Chevy Corvair Monza convertible. They're a 110 hp car with a 2.7 litre flat 6 engine stock. This one has a new engine that's been bored 30 over, had the cam changed, and converted to dual exhaust. The body's in really nice shape, and the interior is all right for now. The sound system is some cheap 50W RMS head, and a JL 10" sub. 8" one-way speakers in the front (mounted under the dash), and 6x9 2-ways in the rear
Future plans:
New head unit (Probably a dual with a flip-down faceplace, because it'll look good in this car)with some new speakers.
New interior; My dad and I have patched the seats, but it still could afford to look a bit better
Larger wheels. This car is sitting on stock 13" wheels right now, with premium Chevy wheel covers. They look nice enough, but it's getting hard to find 13" tires, and they provide for mediocre handling. I'm not at all sure what we'll do, but probably upgrade to 15" rims for the sake of slightly better handling (and actually being able to find tires in another 5 years).
