Mazda of Japan first introduced the 3rd Generation RX-7 to the Japanese public in 1992. It was a tremendous hit! Because of this, they decided to introduce it in 1993 to the U.S. public. Keep in mind that my location is Okinawa, Japan. There IS such a thing as a '92 RX-7 FD3S...because I own one. My title has the year in Japanese years...but the equivalent is 1992. According to my title, I own a car produced in Japan in the Japanese year Heisai Yon-nen in the month of Ju-NiGatsu(December). This means 4 years after the death of their last emperor which was in 1988...making my car a '92 3rd Generation RX-7. They were ONLY produced in Japan. There is no such thing as a '92 3rd Generation RX-7 in the United States,BUT IN JAPAN THEY DO EXIST! I know of 3 other FD's here that share the same year.

The car is setup for Drag, but with circuit in mind. All modifications are done by me or by other members of the car club I am in: Vanquish Custom Car Club.

According to my calculations, after porting the primary intake ports and port matching the Upper Intake Manifold/Lower Intake Manifold/Intake Runners as well as pulling the engine and porting the intake/exhaust ports, my car should be within the 440 - 480 rwhp range! The car weights in at 2723 lbs. WITH me as the driver(I have done extensive weight reduction). It was built in the hopes of being an over all performer in different levels of track competition, whether it be drag, drift or circuit. Everything on her is fully functional and has been done for performance first and show as second. Sometimes, the prettiest car finish LAST...who wants to be last?

Hi, I love Rotary engines! i'm preparing to install a 20B into an old BMW. I really want to find a repair manual and wiring diagrams for the 20B cosmo. I can't find that information anywhere in north america. Do you have access to any such information in Japan? Please let me know, reply to my guestbook if you can! Thanks!

Hey, I also wanted to ask ya something. I saw you got the Bride Brix seats, how do those fit in your RX7? I know some of the seats people buy rub on the door panels. Do they fit snug in, or are they kind of rubbing it a little bit? I wanted to buy a set myself but I was curious as to how they're working for you right now. Thanks a lot.
