this is my 1996 Nissan Almera Sri, i bought the car in June 2001, it was standard when i bought it

looked something like this
(This isnt my car, but havent any early piccies on the pc)

as you can see its pretty basic and tidy lookin car to start with,

mods started, with the front end of the car,
meshed grille and air dam in bumper with silver mesh

and the back got treated to a powerflow back box, ( since then a full cat back and 4-2-1 manifold has been installed)

then the body work really started, slowly first was the flushed tailgate, removal of wiper an lock

then the removal of the rear door handles, and the front handles colour coded

the car was comeing along nicely, but was shouting out for a body kit. after searching i finally got bit by bit a Almera GTI kit

-Phase 2 GTI front bumper
-Phase 1 GTI Side skirts
-Phase 1 GTI Rear lower splitter, with tow hook removed
-Phase 2 Rear lights
-Single wiper conversion and flushed the washer jets on the bonnet
-17" BK 299 alloys

I also changed the mesh to black on the front bumper this tima and made a custom grille from a phase 2 grille

since then i have changed the front grille to a "JDM" 2 bar grille imported from austrailia, Phase 2 front lights and indicators

i also changed the alloys to 17" KEI Kruze, gloss black spokes with polished lips, these really complement the colour of the car

Exterior body mods to date

-Almera Phase 2 GTi Front bumper with lower splitter, fog lights removed and meshed
-Almera Phase 2 GTI Side Skirts on opposite way round
-Almera Phase 1 GTI Rear Splitter, rear tow hook removed and flushed
-Almera �JDM� spec 2 bar grille (Sent from Austrailia)
-Front door handles colour coded
-Rear door handles removed and flushed
-Tailgate lock and wiper removed and flushed. number plate relocated to bumper
-Wiper jets on bonnet removed and flushed
-Almera Phase 2 rear lights with surrounds colour coded
-Almera Phase 2 Headlights and indicators
-Clear side repeaters
