So here you have it, a marvel of General Motors engineering, the rare 1984 Chevrolet Celebrity 4-speed manual sedan. I got this car on my 16th birthday and have been driving it since then. It only had about 66k miles on it when I started to drive it. Now it is at about 84k. Still in great shape. This car came from Arizona, which explains the amazing lack of rust on the body. I hope you like what I have done with it. It's my first car, my favorite car, and I plan on keeping it as long as I can! Thanks for checking out my page.

CHECK OUT THE NEW PAINTJOB!

Here they are! The updated pictures of the Celebrity after it's year-long hiatus. Thats right, this took a little over a year, but it is well worth the wait.

The paint is a 1982 GM Charcoal Grey Cadillac paint color. I COMPLETELY tore the car apart and prepped it for paint. Every piece that could be removed, was removed. The windshield was cracked and got replaced with a brand new one, and while the windshield was out, the bodyman discovered some rusting around the window frame, so it was sandblasted and the new window was installed. The left front fender had a small rust hole, so it was replaced with a brand new fender. The sunroof that we had put in the car was not all that great and was prone to leaking, so it was replaced with a much nicer (and a little bigger) sunroof.

Almost everything on the car was stripped and color matched in the charcoal grey paint, including the front and rear bumpers, a process that included taking them to a shop to get them dipped to remove the chrome. The result is amazing, and way better than I could have ever imagined!

Do you have a video of the sound the glasspack makes? I'd love to have something on my Cutlass Ciera that made it sound a little more throaty. BTW, your Celeb looks Amazing! Love the 4spd!

Whoaaa !!! Amazing Celebrity man ! I always wondered what it would be to restore a car like that, and man, I like the finished product. Are you planning on changing the wheels ? I would go with some 16" wheels, but as long as they look like they could have been factory-installed (no bling-bling :P). Anyway, enjoy it ! Oh, and check out my '95 Grand Am when you can, it's getting new wheels in about 3 weeks... :) Later, J-S
