�The Dodge� 3500 1 Ton Daully, I guess you call it my baby; most of my free time is spent on it. Or let's say free money. I purchased the truck new when it was still 100% stock. Although its looks can be deceiving, this truck is FAR from stock. Custom 4 inch exhaust with no mufflers, AFE intake, up graded injector, pack brake, high performance intercooler hoses, PDR exchaust manifold, Comp box, ATS tranny, auto meter gauges, and HX-40 Turbo and there is always more to come.

After 2 stock Torque Converters, it was time to set things right.
I decided to go with an ATS Transmission. I started with The ATS Commander lockup controller, which allows you to manually lock-up your torque converter with the push of a button. I upgraded the Torque Converter with the Stage III ATS Five Star Vishkus Clutch Drive Torque Converter. The Valve body was up graded, and a high capacity Transmission Pan was put on as well.
If I could do it all over again, I would not chose ATS, because they are not the company they claim to be. The warranty they �claim� to have means nothing. One of my buddies called them and filed a complaint about his tranny and they basically told him:� it�s your problem�. Their tranny failed within a few months after being on his truck, and while the tranny should have been under warranty, ATS told him it was his fault. Their customer service is crap. I called everyday, two times a day, and finely after 4 weeks, the person I needed to talk to finally called me back. Many of my buddies have had the same problems. So take my advice, don�t buy ATS!


Like many know the Cummin�s is a great motor with a lot of power. But like with everything, parts do break. The biggest problem I faced was the Bosch injector pump. I put the Edge 5 stage Comp Box on and as great as it is there are many upgraded parts you should look into before installing the chip. I ended up eating 4 injector pumps because of low fuel psi. After a lot of research JT diesel and I were able to come up with our own custom fuel system to boost the fuel pressure to 14 psi which then solved my injector pump problem.
