This is my 1989 Mustang GT. I've been a huge fan of Mustangs for a long time, especially Fox bodies. They always seemed to me to be a lot of power on a small chassis, and I just loved they way that they look. I saw this one on Yahoo and I went to look at it, and not long after I was driving it home.
Engine + Exhaust Mods are as follows:
Edelbrock Performer 5.0 Intake, BBK 70MM Throttle Body + EGR Plate, 90MM Lightning MAF w/ cone filter, BBK Adjustable FPR, Autometer FP guage, Accel 24# injectors, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, SCT Adjustable tune (for switching between 89 and 93 fuel), March aluminum underdrive pullies, Powermaster 140amp alternator, Electric fan swap, Flowtech shorty headers, Flowmaster mufflers, custom welded X-pipe.
Drivetrain:
FRPP Aluminum Driveshaft, Spec Stage 2 clutch w/ adjustable cable.
Suspension:
Koni Red adjustable shocks/struts, FRPP A-Arms, Eibach springs, strut tower brace, Summitt subframe connectors.
Sound System is all Sony. Head unit, 2 10" subs, 1100w Amp, and speakers. Not pro by any means but good bang for the buck, and to me it sounds good.
Since the last update here I've done a ton of work to the car, including getting rid of the old fiberglass hood. There is surely more work in the future for this car. I plan on a gear swap as well as several other minor things just to tie up some loose ends. For now it's a fun car to cruise around in even if it's not in perfect shape. She is 20 years old, after all.
