So far it has an
Injen & Magnaflow muffler & tips (which I plan to replace with a new exhaust in the future) that were already on the car when I bought it. I had my Sony head unit installed (with XM & MP3) & am looking into getting a
Memphis amp, speakers, & sub installed soon along with remote start & a DVD unit with the monitors in the headrests (thanks to my Brother). Next up will be window tint & a short throw shifter. I'm also saving up for new rims & tires.

I just changed up my muffler to a Mazdaspeed muffler (I got it on eBay brand new from
Nelson Mazda Parts) to replace that horrible looking Magnaflow one I had. It looks a lot better & sounds so much better!

Today, I got the windows tinted and had new rims put on. I got the 18" Drag DR-11 wheels (that I have a picture of on Page 2) along with some Toyo Proxes4 (got them as a package deal from The Source Car Audio).

Just Added...Pioneer Pioneer DEH-P6800MP Head Unit,
Memphis Power Reference Speakers,
Quantum Audio Q220.2 Amplifier, &
Memphis Power Reference 10" Subwoofer (all obtained from The Source Car Audio). The head unit & speakers are in! The subwoofer will be a custom enclosure in the spare tire well so that the cargo area is still fully functional. Now...Time to get creative!

This weekend we replaced the bent up Trailing Arm (got an awesome deal on a brand new one from
Montgomery Mazda) on the Driver's side with a new one. I also managed to score a set of DaveB Gauge Rings (from a member of the
Mazda Forums), so we installed those. I ordered a new
Exedy clutch from
Ultra Rev, so I am waiting for that to get here. We will do the clutch along with the timing belt, tensioner, pulley, and water pump.

I just picked up a
Cosmo short shifter from a member of the
Mazda Forums. I also scored a pair of MSP headlights from another member of the
Mazda Forums. I bought a pair of
TWM Performance urethane bushings from
Protege Garage. They all got here last week so we will be working on all that in the next month. I need to pick up the headlight wiring to convert the Protege5 wiring to the MSP wiring so I can use the sweet looking, blacked-out MSP headlights.
Stay Tuned for More...
