1963 Chevrolet Bel-Air 4 Door
Traditional lowrider
Chuck-A-Burger Drive-In Restaurant St.Louis Missouri

This is my '63 Chevy Bel-Air, no it is not an Impala as some people think. It has the original 6 cyl. and Powerglide trans. The body is straight as an arrow and solid as a rock, which helped my decision to buy it even though it's a 4 door. It was all stock when I bought it. I knew it had potential though. I brought it home and quickly put on a set of new smoothie wheels 15x8 and skinny whites. It was then lowered by cutting the coils. I had the roof painted gloss black and the body painted red oxide primer, which turned out to be more orange than red. I then lowered it more. I had the dashboard pinstriped by my friend Rich. I then lowered it more. I dont remember how many coils were cut out, but when the car is jacked up the springs fall out. The rockers are about 5 in. off the ground. It has new exhaust(cheap glasspack)that sounds cool on a 6. '59 Caddy taillights, tri-bar headlight shields, stereo, white fur on package tray and dash. Great cruiser and gets lots of looks.
Oh, the car is lower than in the carshow pic.
