UPDATED 3-4-2007!
Well, rather than a new engine OR head gaskets, I tried the Bars Leaks head gasket sealer. It seems to have worked so far. I know it won't last, but if I coax another year or 10K out of the engine, I will feel better!
UPDATED 9-26-2006!
After a lot of estimates and a lot of diagnostic work, a new engine is in order for the Orange Mojo. The head gasket has blown and the #2 cylinder is burning water. No contamination of the oil, however.
The estimates run in the $1200 range for new head gaskets, or $2000 for a newer, 2001+ PI engine. With the rust issues my block has, the newer engine seems the route to go!

UPDATED 9-2-2006!
Well, August has been a rough month! The car would not stop running hot, despite 10 engine coolant flushes. Every flush washed more rust out of the block, but I still have a lot of rust in there. Discovered that I had a leaking Under-Intake-Heater-Pipe.
New wires have been added, and 4 new Pioneer 200 watt door speakers. The Orange Mojo sounds really good now!

In the above picture you can see the engine after I pulled off the intake manifold. You can see the rust stained block from the leaking heater pipe. That heater pipe is the reason the intake had to come off. 3 hours of labor, but doing it myself saved me $500!

This 1996 Lincoln Town Car is one of a kind. The Enkei Tazio rims are only made in Europe. The Orange paint is fully jambed and extends behind all four door panels, the hood, and the trunk. It is very bold, with gold and green pearl coat. Turns heads everywhere it goes, either toward the car OR away from it!
Soon, I will have an entire LED lighting scheme for the vehicle's interior. Included in the plan are LEDs in the four door panels' carpeted areas, around both rear-most side windows, and under the dash and seats. However, before the LED lighting plan can come into being, I want to have the car's paint blemishes and errors corrected.
Sound in the Orange Mojo is provided by two 12" Kenwood subs fed by a 1000 watt Kenwood amp. All of the speakers are rather old and could stand to be updated. The head unit is a brand new Pioneer, but not one of the fancy swimming face models that invites accidents.
Page updates will likely be slow, as the car's progress is not on a time-critical schedule.
Notice how the black mirrors contrast with the orange paint.

Engine bay before any real dressing up. I keep the engine clean along with the rest of the car, but I want to add digital battery posts and new wires.
