This is a 1984 Z28 Convertible that my dad bought three years ago for $3,000. We didnt know what we were getting into because when it was delivered, it wasnt what we expected. It had a lot of work to be done. It still has a 305 HO but there are long term plans for a 350. This car was manufactured as a hardtop because in'84 they didn't make these in conv., so a small number was sent to a custom shop and their tops were chopped. And we ended up with one. Im not sure how many went to the shop. I heard 250 and I heard 500. I've been looking into it. It has Flowmasters, Fresh Paint, & American Racing Torq Thrust IIs. Nice Way to start. But we still have many more plans to come!

There is much more in store for this one of a kind V8. Currently I am looking for an old beat up chevy with a reasonable v8.

I'll have more pics soon

That's nice, I have one kinda like yours, except mine is a 2 seater and I think yours still has the back seat (at least I can't tell from the pictures).

Nice ride. Who built it? I have an '85 Transam convertible myself. Mine is a 2 seater with 14,700 miles on it or close to that. Anyway, I like the way your cars looks. Good job!
