Now it was time to tend to some issues with the motor and clean things up. First was the clean up the huge Spearco front mount. I cleaned up the cooling fins of bugs and other debris that may of got in between the fins. I also cleaned out the end tanks.

Next issue was the intercooler piping which wasn't the greatest setup. It had some weak worm clamps, sections of hoses instead of of metal piping, and incorrect sized couplers. So me and my friend who did the piping for my 96 Galant redid the i/c piping with 2.5" custom piping.

Along with the new I/C piping I switched out the turbo throttle body for a Non turbo throttle body rebuilt and bored out to 64mm with the FIAV assembly eliminated. For underhood "Bling" I got a JDM 4G63t valve cover freshly powdercoated red.

Ported Evo III Big 16g

New APS Tclamps, silicone couplers, hardpiping, gaskets, and front and rear Megan racing upper strut bars.

After a few months searching..I was able to find and source a excellent condition JDM rear bumper. I also replaced the reflector type fog lamps with the projector style foglamps. Swapped out the old style reflector lens headlights for the 93 crystal lens headlights. Got it painted and installed it. I also sourced out the 3 piece AMG trunk wing from the AMG Galants. I also replaced the Megan muffler with a Apexi N1 muffler. Also lowered the car on H&R springs.

Decided to bring my GVR4 to its roots. Found a nice dirt road near some orange groves and did some driving and took this pic.

Didn't too much to the car for a few months as I was preparing to buy my house. I just attended some DSM and Galant meetings for those few months.
