This is my new 1960 Studebaker Lark 4 Door. I don't know the entire history of the car, but I do know it's been here in Las Vegas for at least the past twenty-some years. I just picked it up a few weeks ago and haven't done anything to it yet at all. Being a Nevada car, it's almost completely rust free except for a few places.

This fender has definitely been replaced at one time (tell-tale sign of the color not matching) and I'm wondering if it didn't come off an eastern car. This rust is definitely NOT typical of
this car.

Also, there's a bit of light collision damage on the driver's side rear door and rear fender. They could both be repaired, but I think I'll opt for a replacement fender instead.

A bit more damage here on the rocker panel. It's VERY common for these cars to have damage on the rear area of the front fenders. I'm not sure why it is, but a bit of research shows many cars in much worse shape than this. Repair patches are available, but I think I'll opt to replace both front fenders and both rockers while I'm at it with that rear fender.

The interior of this car is rough to say the least. I love all of the original trim, the design of the dash and instruments, but it needs completely stripped and re-done: carpet, seats, door panels, etc, etc.

I have plans to turn this into my own version of a Skytop however, so the headliner will be minimal.

I'll keep up with the pictures as progress ensues, but it will be slow going for sure!

Let me know what you think. I have some incredible ideas for this Studebaker but we'll have to see when reality and dreams collide!

LOL. OK, man. Well, she's looking good. All you need to do now is bring her to the dentist, get her some teeth, get her some clothes, get her a pair of shoes and install some entertainments in her... I am sure will be pimped big time. If the greens aren't available, then good things come to those who wait. Peace, man.
