So I FINALLY got the chin spoiler painted and installed today. I thought my paint job was pretty good. 2 coats of black primer and 2 coats of light flat black w/ a medium-heavy coat on that.
Before the install:
Removing the factory lower grill:
New aggressive chin spoiler:
This will be sitting a little lower once the suspension gets worked in again. It was stretched out for a few hours on jack stands. This is supposed to be at 5.75" once it settles back down.
Alright - so it finally got warmer.... actually I was just lazy and didn't want to update my cardomain page. So anyways, I'm another year older, been with my fiance for over a year, and she bought me my rear window louvers! w00t!
The louvers are made by Visus and are black painted aluminum. And as far as I know, i'm the only one with them in Omaha.
There are other styles of these including plastic, and a different style of metal made by Astra Hammond. IMHO, those look like complete crap. This one definitely looks better.
So this is what my mustang looks like now. I'm still debating on what style of 1/4 window louvers to get. If anyone wants to help out on that, go ahead.
