96_Cougar's 1996 Mercury Cougar

Here's a list of what I plan to do:

**20” Mazzi Klaw wheels wrapped in Nexen N3000rubber (installed)

**Upgrade all filament bulbs to LED bulbs (installed)

**‘96-97 Cougar clear front corner lights (installed)

**‘96-97 Cougar headlights (new pair)

**Xenon ground effects kit w/o Xenon rear spoiler.

**‘96-97 Cougar Ram Air Style Fiberglass Hood w/ Chrome steel hood pin kit - hairpin style release & universal chrome prop rod for fiberglass hoods.

**Eibach 1½” lowering springs w/ short rear sway bar end links & polyurethane upper/lower spring cups for rear springs

**KONI Infinitely adjustable shocks - set of 4

**Big Brake Kit # 5 - Front Brakes

**Big Brake Kit # 6 - Rear Brakes

**Flowmaster dual exhaust system w/ chrome tips

**Vertical Door Conversion Kit

**Whole car repainted factory color (Moonlight Blue Clearcoat Metallic) w/ ghost flames on the front end. Also, the undercarriage coated using blue Rhino lining & wheel wells coated as well.

**To have a custom made sub enclosure that takes up most or all of the trunk & a cover for the bottom of the trunk lid that is made for either 2 or 3 TV's.

**New 3.8L V6 engine w/ supercharger & new Auto transmission, driveshaft, rear end.

**Windows retinted w/ dark tint (20% on doors & 5% on all others) **Hopefully done by mid August...

**I plan on shaving the door handles, antenna, rear lights on trunk, license plate. I plan to leave the Cougar emblems installed. Also, I would like to have a set of custom Euro taillights installed (so-called "frenched into place").

**I'd really like to find a set of custom-made projector headlights for it.

**I can't decide between an Audiobahn, Kicker, or JL Audio sound system. Whichever I decide to have a custom fiberglass enclosure made & painted to match the car.

**5"x7" Component speakers to replace Pioneers currently in it.

**I plan to have a Pioneer In-dash Multimedia Receiver installed.

^^My Cougar is on the www.superbuytires.com website; the first vehicle on there w/ Mazzi Klaw's. Here's the link:
http://superbuytires.com/gallery/view/Mercury/Cougar/Mazzi/Klaw/12376/

~~It has a strong-running 3.8L V6 engine w/ an auto tranny. Oil & air filter have been changed every 2500-3000 miles.

~~I have the original window sticker that came with it when new. The total vehicle cost for my Coug. was $19,470.00 in 1996.

~~This is my first car & I plan to keep it as a show car once it is complete. I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of it.

Plans have been put on "hold" 'til I can get a garage of my own.....

I do buiness with Super Coupe Performance.....give them a look on the web @ www.supercoupeperformance.com

Nice looking Cougar and a really nice list of mods to get done.Seems to be pretty much the same route I'm takeing with my Bird. I got lucky and found die cast models of my car on Ebay one day. Bid on them and got em both from some guy in the UK. Haven't seen any more since. That blue will be awesome with ghost flames. Good luck with the mods.
