 1985 Plymouth Gran Fury Salon

 FordMuscle429SCJ's 1985 Plymouth Gran Fury

Ok this car has been through ALOT.  The reason i bought this car was becasue it seemed reliable and it was cheap.  This was my first car that i bought back in september 2005 for 700 bucks from a old lady across the street.  It had 42,703 original miles,I have the original receipt from when the lady bought the car brand new (i'll get pictures of the interior and the reciept up once i can) and all it needed was a battery to drive away.  Her reason of selling it was becasue she thought it was UGLY!

I sold the car in November 2006 becasue of gas prices and i used the money to buy a fuel friendly car, but then i researched it and i saw that they only made 26,000 Plymouth Gran Fury's in 1985, and that is including Taxi's and Cop Cars!  So I bought it back from the buyer ;) so she is mine forever....

As of now i am still in college and i own the car, i dont believe i could ever get rid of her again.  SHE NEVER BROKE DOWN ON ME.... EVER.  Until one day here at college i decided to show off and set her side ways a screamin and i heard a CLUNK and then she just wound out.  The Transmission was shot!  I had no foreward gears, just reverse... which was better then nothing at the time....

what rearend do you have? I just built an 8.25 with 3.55 gears, posi and all new bearings. i'll even throw in the fairly new brakes, driveshaft, and beefed up springs for $250. let me know if you're interested.
