Welcome! I am 17 and this is my first car that I bought on March 27, 2006 for 600 dollars. It is a 1984 Dodge Rampage 2.2, Rampage Prospector to be exact. It is your typical first car, falling apart, never running how it should. At the moment it is grounded with shifting problems, not to mention a new rack and pinion is needed. I hope you enjoy these picture

This was the first picture of my car and I together. My sister was the one taking the picture.

This is a picture of my car the night i brought it home.

The interior was not good. It had a brown interior, which, not being a good idea when the car was made, was an even worse idea 22 years later. The brown carpet was bleached, and was green in some areas.

I added a new steering wheel cover, rubber floor mats, and seat covers, all black and with the dodge logo on them.

The old steering wheel cover was not to my liking, so removed it. Upon removal, I relised that with out power steering, that the thin, worn-down wheel would not be easy to control. So I bought a black dodge racing cover, and that solved the control problem and looks much better.

It looks much better now

The console was in desperate need of a cleaning. It was pretty bad. I managed to get it clean though, and looks pretty good.

You can see what i mean about the green carpet in this picture. I plan to rip it out as soon as I can.

Did you know that the '84 Turbo Rampage that was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine has been listed on eBay? Item #220135404779.

The stock clutches on our cars suck. Replace it with a Centerforce stage two or for less out of your wallet a standard centerforce. Replacing it is a pain, you have to remove the drivelines and the transmission and when their out it is still a cramped workspace. If you need anymore help on this matter just ket me know. I have 2 books (which i recomend getting) if you want step by step instructinos I can copy it to you.

Looks like it coming together nice. It's got a lot of potenial. I like rampages because they are so unique...cool little vehicle.

A carb swap will give you biggest improvement in power and reliability for the money (easy swap). Check out Weber carbs.

Going turbo is a big power gainer, but it's a big project. Take a look at turbododge.com...a lot of info there.

Nice ride, great condition for a project..

Im guessing its a prospector? That green carpet..used to be brown.. The sun faded it out to that nasty lookin green..

If you look at the carpet where the jack cover was behind the driver seat, it should be brown.. Or look under the seat.

check mine out

later
